Bertil Waldemar Widebrant (10April 1914 – 25 January 1989) was aSwedish painter.
During his study trips to the Mediterranean countries, he has been particularly captivated by the intensely bright colors, which he has captured in a powerful pastorate manner. Widbrandt has a softer painterly expression in order to reflect Swedish nature and its fauna and is regarded as one of our foremost natural painters. He participated in several collection exhibitions, including in Uddevalla, Karlskrona and Tingsryd. His art consists of landscapes, flower styles, portraits and figures, but has become best known for his animal studies conducted in oil or gouache.
