Rare Oud Delft Blue Dutch Delftware Decorative Plate (1935 - 1968). Hand painted Vase with Flowers. Marked. Beautiful Large Wall Plate. A few small chips on the bottom of the rim of the dish. This does not detract from its beauty and authenticity, but adds a touch of vintage charm. In great condition for Its Age.

Oud Delft, founded in 1921 as N.V. Industrie- en Handelsmaatschappij 'Oud Delft' by Roelof Elshout in Nijmegen. The products are provided with a brand, consisting of a turntable surrounded by the letters OUD and the word 'Delft'.
This factory was founded in 1920 in Nijmegen (the Netherlands). In 1996, the factory is merged with the factory Aardewerkfabriek 't Delftse Huys B.V. in Waddinxveen (the Netherlands). Objects are marked from 1935.
The mark represents a potter's wheel with the word/letters OUD above it and below the word Delft. Before 1968 the mark was handpainted en often included the initials of the painter and/or the letters that are probably the year of production. From 1968 the factory used a printed mark.
