Delft Blue Dutch Delftware Decorative Plate. Hand painted with Blue Flowers on Light Green Base. Marked. Beautiful Wall Plate. This Plate was made at the Zenith pottery in Gouda 1983. Pottery is a type of ceramic. The factory was founded in the second half of the 18th century and initially focused on the production of pipes. When this became less profitable in the early 20th century, the great-grandchildren of the original entrepreneurs chose to concentrate on making decorative pottery. The factory closed in 1984. A one small chip on the bottom of the rim of the dish. This does not detract from its beauty and authenticity, but adds a touch of vintage charm. In great condition for Its Age.
