Berit Ternell's production consisted of tableware, ornamental and refractory goods. Kosmos is a refractory series made for Gefle Porcelain Factory and which gave her first prize in Holland in 1967. Other dishes she designed were Scala, Pors, Cuba and Bollar.
Fantastically large/roomy mid century tea pot. Marked TE (E lost bottom line). Pours very well. Nice brown tone. Used. Good vintage condition. Suitable for large family. Great for tea lovers. Good teapot - Lasting Value.

Berit Torborg Irene Ternell (born 26 May 1929) is a Ceramicist and Designer. n 1971 Berit leaves Gävle and moves to Gothenburg, where she then works as a teacher at HDK until her retirement in 1994. She has received some scholarships over the years, including from the Anna-Lisa Thomson Foundation and in 1967 she received gulden Vorm in Utrecht for her series Kosmos. Berit Ternell's items are stamped "BT", "Ternell" or sometimes "TE".
